We have made ALDEA II early September holiday. I have an apartment booked directly with ALDEA (82 € per day) to me to secure a sea view. Unfortunately, I have also mentioned "not many levels" and got an apartment as a result of the partial sea view. So it's not, I have written down the numbers with real sea. 1. Stock: 204-207-210-213-216, 2nd floor: 205-208-211-214-217, 3rd floor: 206-209-215. There are a few buildings in front, who also have a direct sea view. There are, however, take many apartments, the name plates and how it looks should not be recorded.
The apartment
Our Apartment No. 237, the views of the mountains, the beach and the sea - not bad! Moreover, the two balconies go east. This had the advantage that one greets the morning sun and then adopted it for the rest of the day. In each room there is a ceiling fan, which we never used because it was cool anyway. And at a pinch you can open the balcony door. Led to our apartment from the beach 236 steps to the top and another 3 levels down.
The apartment is just beautiful! I have from the beginning felt at home. There was more space in the cabinets than the clothes I had brought. The living room / kitchen, there was a large refrigerator, toaster, coffee maker, stove with 2 hobs. I missed only one oven and a sharp knife. In the bathroom near the living room there was a washing machine.
The apartment was cleaned every two days, that there were trash emptied, wiped down the floor and the towels and kitchen towels changed. The linens during our stay (12 days) changed twice.
What I like about our building will be good, is that the small playground right at the bottom. So you could call from the balcony when the food was ready. :-)
for the children they brought 2 cots in the apartment.
In neighboring house opposite our building lived 2 large dogs that barked at times. This has disturbed us at all though.
The restaurant
undertaken after the many enthusiastic reviews I booked just after our arrival at the hotel, half board (23 € per person per day). Unfortunately, there was food in the restaurant La Gritta too heavy. For the children there was no children's menu.
The dinner was held 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.. Each one could choose between 4 versions appetizers, main course and dessert. It always starts with a small appetizer was served bread and olives with the garlic sauce. Especially good are the delicious cakes have fallen. It was between banana cake, strawberry cake, tiramisu and chocolate cake menu. For the drinks you have to pay extra. Still 500 ml water and 200 ml Coca-Cola cost per € 2.50. Together with the invoice you received a small portion of sherbet.
The location of the restaurant and the facilities are excellent. You can never have enough of the beautiful sea view! This is just adorable! But be careful: you gewönnt very quickly to the good.
The breakfast was offered at the hotel from 8:30 to 10:00. There was the same every day (Only the fruit plate alternated daily between pineapple and watermelon). For there was eggs, fried eggs, fried sausages, cheese, sausage, butter, cereals, tea, milk, jam, baguettes and rolls in the range. The children were always an extra apple. :-) Everything tasted good. You could book the breakfast instead of half board for 8 € per day.
Staff
The boss, the staff at the hotel and restaurant were always friendly and helpful.
recommendations
For shopping, I recommend the supermarket MERCADONA . There is a wide selection of fresh fish and meat. It is at the end of the boulevard in Paguera: you have to go down the stairs can and then left along the road to the intersection (there is the supermarket Casa pepe) and go straight to Paguera garden center. From there, on the other side of the boulevard you can already see the supermarket. It is closed on Sundays.
We unfortunately health problems had, we had to choose the doctor. It was the German specialist medical center on c / Malgrat 17 There's no pediatrician, only a specialist in general medicine. It has helped me well, but my son was after treatment with the antibiotic still very sick. She could not see why that is. The antibiotic, which another doctor has prescribed the center has helped to happiness. The doctor also warned that mosquito bites transmit the infection can and you should protect it.
Another clinic, Clinica Avenida Paguera Av. de Paguera, 26, is closer to the hotel, at the junction opposite Casa Pepe.
I got a taxi from / to the airport ordered. It was not expensive (96 € round trip for 4 people). I can only recommend the company (please send me a PM). The return trip took only 30 minutes - really fast!
